Saturday, May 25th:

Picnic available from 1pm-6pm

Last year’s picnic was enjoyed by approximately 30 Wells Family members.  Everyone enjoyed good food, meeting and visiting with Wells Family cousins, and listening to the wonderful music and singing provided by our talented cousins.   If you play an instrument or sing, we encourage you to participate.  If you have any games you think may be enjoyed by the group, please feel free to bring those, too.

Please let us know if you plan to attend the picnic by sending an email to [email protected] or by posting on the Wells Family FB page.  Each family attending is asked to bring their own food and drinks and an extra chair or two as seating may be limited.  There are numerous places to pick up fast foods or deli items in Paintsville, among them Food City, WalMart, Burger King, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, Bob Evans, and others.  There is electricity and water at the shelter if you wish to bring potluck dishes or do grilling.  We will be responsible for cleanup before leaving so please bring garbage bags and paper towels, etc.

Sunday, May 26th:

DOORS OPEN: 9:00 A.M. — Members, with help of the janitor, will set up tables for the reunion.

WELCOME:
President Charlene Muncy

AUCTION:
Bring items for the main auction and the silent auction, such as family history items, handmade items, such as crafts, etc.  The proceeds from the auction sales will benefit the organization for reunion and newsletter expenses.  Be sure to set a minimum price for the auctioneer to begin with.  We don’t want to sell items for less than what was invested in them, especially for handmade items.
